Seancy's journey into media creation stemmed from a love of underground hip-hop culture that drew inspiration and elements from established channels yet created something completely new and innovative. His resourcefulness and fresh perspective on tried and true formulas, like vinyl sampling, audio manipulation and image overlay blending, led him to creating works that blurred the boundaries of genres and styles like hip-hop, reggae, electronic, bass music and funk. His video works stemmed from the itch to provide visual elements to complete stories the music was offering. Having a knack for vintage nostalgia integrated alongside current cutting-edge techniques has created a signature style that's noteworthy and continually evolving.
Sean Conners, aka Seancy, is a music producer, editor, motion graphics animator and content creator based out of Arizona & San Diego who has garnered praise from audio and video pros alike. His music has been released on ill.Gates' Producer Dojo label and has been featured in action sports clips for brands like Xzylem, Sector 9 and Penny Skateboards. He has crafted audio and visual content for brands like Sliverback, Ekzo and Caffeine & Green Podcast, alongside music video and promotional projects for his own music and other artists like Flowmads, Luke Rain, Aj Froman and DTO.
